Breakfast service disappointing, long wait.

The location of Lakeside Retreat 1 is truly amazing, with a beautiful view of the lake and the opportunity to watch RAF air shows. the hot tub and private fishing peg add to the relaxing atmosphere. the accommodation itself is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need. the owner is prompt in addressing any issues that arise, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The beds in the accommodation are not very comfortable, especially the single beds which lack support and have broken springs.

The welcome shortbread biscuits were a lovely touch. Self check-in was clearly communicated. We enjoyed our stay despite the unlucky weather. Great for fishing.

We recommend trying out the water activities for some super fun. Rachel's summer plots were jaw-dropping, with a caravan that was clean and well-maintained. The lodge had great outdoor space and was exceptionally clean. We even caught a decent size carp during our stay. The lodge had a great outside space and was exceptionally clean. the shortbread biscuits provided were a lovely touch. the self check-in process was clearly communicated. the accommodation had everything we needed and the view was beautiful.
